We are a coalition of residents, organizations, businesses, and entrepreneurs working towards preserving Lake Crabtree County Park, protecting Umstead State Park, and preserving the forested corridor that connects them. This is public land that is managed by the RDU Airport Authority.

RDU AA current plans call for destroying forest adjacent to Umstead State Park for a quarry, and destroying parts of Lake Crabtree County Park for an office park and hotel. Triangle, we can do better.  These areas are currently the centerpiece of outdoor recreation in our area.  Let's not squander this opportunity. Our group is solutions-oriented and actively bringing various parties together from government, business, and our community to find a better way forward. One that considers both private and public means, one that preserves as much of this amazing area as possible, and one we can be proud of.
